Making life easier  :)

Shadow Spirit Enterprises originated from a belief that we can make life easier for a lot of people.

We strive to achieve this by purpose breeding Labrador Retrievers and training them as assistance dogs to be placed with those in need.

Assistance dogs are used in various situations including Autism, PTSD, Panic Disorders, the elderly, depression, community programs and more.  They are a vital and complex resource, which can be applied to many different
medical scenarios.

JESS DID WHAT HUMANS
COULDN'T!

Our family's pain was palpable. School trauma had consumed my beloved 9-year-old Autistic, PDA'er, OCD'er, Touretter child.

We were very much on our own in this.

After watching a film about a service dog and its strong, loving, healing bond with a soldier, my child said, "Mum, the universe has chosen my dog". With that, I called Amanda, and before too long, a chunky yellow bubble of joy waddled through our doors. Only two months old, she began to transform us in unimaginable ways.

We slept for the first time since my child's birth on the night of her arrival! The days of 3 hours to fall asleep, followed by showering, eating and rocking throughout the night, vanished instantly and never returned! WOW!!!

Three years on, our home today is filled with ridiculous happiness and laughter as Jess hugs us with her unconditional love, regulating us whenever we are distressed. Amanda has walked with us throughout the hardest years of our lives.

Amanda and Jess, together, you are our angels in disguise!
